Daron Rahlves Retires

Thursday March 23, 2006
After thirteen years racing on the World Cup circuit, 32 year old Daron Rahlves is leaving World Cup racing behind. With 12 World Cup victories, a super-G World Championship gold, and 2 medals at the 2005 Worlds, Rahlves is the most successful U.S. skier in the speed events. More for the pride than the monetary rewards Rahlves, will finish his career at the U.S. National Championships at Sugarloaf, Maine. Hey Daron – know that the U.S. ski community has always been proud of you and thanks for the memories.
