U.S. Picks Alpine and Freestyle Teams

Defending World Cup champion Bode Miller (Bretton Woods, NH) and Daron Rahlves (Sugar Bowl, CA) lead nine men nominated to the U.S. Alpine Olympic Team. Returning Olympians Lindsey Kildow (Vail, CO) and Julia Mancuso (Olympic Valley, CA) lead a team of ten women Alpine skiers. Among the men and women chosen there are a total of fourteen with past Olympic experience, nine of whom will be three time Olympians.

World Cup champions Jeret "Speedy" Peterson (Boise, ID), Jeremy Bloom (Loveland, CO) and Hannah Kearney (Norwich, VT) head up 14 athletes for the 2006 Olympic Freestyle Team.
