Raich and Kostelic Retain World Cup Alpine Lead

Austrian Benjamin Raich won a one-day super combined (downhill and one slalom run) World Cup event at Wengen, Switzerland to boost his World Cup overall points lead. His teammate Michael Walchhofer remains second in total World Cup points, while U.S. Ski Team members Daron Rahlves and Bode Miller are tied for third. Complete Results. Janica Kostelic of Croatia won the women’s downhill at Bad Kleinkirchheim to increase her World Cup lead. Complete Results.
